Creating the Hub
I'm starting a new tutorial on modeling and uv mapping a low poly character. I think I understand what we are about to do so far because we are using semi-high poly models as reference to make low poly versions to uv map on.

Finished Animation, Time for the Rendering Process
This is just a video of the animation before I start the rendering process. I think it turned out pretty good since this is my first decent 3D animation I've ever done. I had a lot of fun making this rig run, flip, slide, and jump like they do in the parkour videos. If I had about another week, I probably could've made it more cartoony, but I think I'll do that during the summer as one of my portfolio projects.

Update on Parkour Animation
I made the character do sort of a run-and-jump style of animation, which will then turn into a little bit of a wall climb at the end, but this is some more of my progress on my animation.

Some Progress On Animation
The animation is starting off a little weird, but this will all get cleaned up and finished soon.
Here is a drawing reference of some of the contact poses I will be using.

In Maya: The Wall Climb Basics
Getting back into 3D Animation has it's ups and downs, but I'm glad to get a refresher from almost 2 years ago. The instructor in the video was very descriptive in showing how to animate according to the drawn key poses in the running video that has the girl. It made animating the Hilary character a lot easier and faster than it would be trying to guess the right poses for when she ran.
Here's a link to the basic finish of the animation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z4K4_88s0fU
